Bourton Vale Cricket Club is delighted to confirm that Max Shepherd has joined the club after two years playing at Cheltenham.

In that period, Max has gained some valuable experience playing minor county cricket for Devon.

He says "Bourton Vale holds a very special place in my heart. I've come back to win and get this great club up a division or tow where it belongs to be.

The signing of Darrel Williams as captain shows how ambitious the club is and I cant wait to work with him and learn lots from him.

I'm super excited in where the club is heading"

Our Senior nets have been booked and will be held in the brand-new sports centre at Kingham Hill School.

They will run on Sunday afternoons throughout February and March, starting on Sunday 4th February.

Our first BVCC social will be a lunch at Stow RFC on Saturday 17th February when their first team take on Worcester RFC.

This will be a great chance to get BVCC playing and social members together and watch some of our rugby-playing members in action.

Lunch (and a drink) is just £12.

It would be great to support this as Stow RFC show incredible support to our Cricket Festival.

They need numbers a week before (so let’s aim for February 9th) and payment will need to be made in advance (you can do this on Spond really easily.

This will be the first of (hopefully) lots of social events in 2024.
