A Vibrant and Fun Junior
Program!
Bourton Vale CC offers boys and girls, from 5 years old
upwards, an array of opportunities to learn and enjoy cricket in a safe
and fun environment. From beginners to county level players, we offer
weekly training run by a team of qualified coaches and volunteers,
plus regular league/friendly cricket.
We cater for all age groups,
including: All Stars Cricket (5-8); plus U9, U11, U13 and U15
league and tournament fixtures.
Older teenagers are encouraged
to join our friendly midweek matches and senior teams.

Friday
Evening Coaching and Parents Social
For all age groups our junior
coaching program is run every Friday evening at our
Bourton-on-the-Water ground. It runs throughout the
summer from April 24th onwards. Organised by a team of
dedicated coaches and volunteers, we use the outfield and brand new 3-lane nets
to work on fundamental skills in a fun environment.
Friday evenings are also just as entertaining for
the parents! We have an open bar from 5.30pm, with outdoor
seating and a BBQ running most nights. We welcome all parents to come along for
an enjoyable social evening.
Additional Coaching &
Pathway
We offer additional individual
and group coaching opportunities and pathway management for talented juniors to
play regional/representative cricket and will offer a summer camp in the
holidays.
Girls Cricket
We have a fantastic program for
girls at BVCC. In addition to All Stars, girls have the option
of playing for any of the mixed U9, U11, U13 or U15 teams (and can play two
years below if preferred).
Additionally, we have a
ladies/girls team in the Twenty20 league that plays midweek.
Girls will practice alongside
the boys on Friday evenings.
5-8 year olds - All
Stars Cricket
Run in conjunction with
the ECB, we offer All Stars Cricket on Fridays at
5.15pm, starting on Friday 08 May for 8 weeks. Available to both boys and
girls, All Stars provides a fantastic first experience of
soft ball cricket, with fun games and basic skills development. All
equipment is provided by BVCC.

U9 / U11 / U13 / U15
Our age group teams are all
mixed, with girls encouraged to participate in the league matches.
U9*, U11** & U13 – League
matches use the ‘pairs’ format to ensure all players enjoy plenty of batting,
bowling and fielding.
U15 – League matches
use the ‘Twenty20’ format
* U9 team is new for 2026
** U11 age group now has 2x
teams in 2026, in the ‘participation’ and ‘performance’ leagues
